Pennard Carnival is an annual weekend summer event, focused upon community and sustaining the old fashioned village life. The Carnival has been running for over 60  years, and comprises of a Saturday of procession and Field/Ring Events, sandwiched in between a Friday night classical concert, Saturday night lively evening and Sunday joint church service for neighbouring churches. The Carnival Committee is a non-profit making charity, set up by the Pennard Parish Hall to maintain the Carnival, and all its benefits to the various sections of the community.
